It is always a great way to start the week with a pleasant surprise, and today, Durant Imboden, co-author of Europe for Visitors (including VeniceforVisitors.com) was gracious enough to post this glowing review on the Venice for Rookies city guide! It is always so gratifying when a long-standing Venice expert and blogger exposes their point of view on the Venice travel guide which I really worked hard at. He discussed the pro’s to having an ebook vs. a printed guide book and even mentioned my humor coming through in some parts! That totally gave me the boost I needed to get through the week.
Europe for Visitors has 15+ years worth of unbiased travel and cruise advice for Paris, Venice, Switzerland, Germany and other parts of Italy. It is a plethora of information from the latest travel news to where to eat to how to get around, in an easy-to-follow and well-organized way. I have to say that when I first moved to Venice, I was a regular on that site too, so thanks for the inspiration Durant and Cheryl! They use to both write for About.com, so we know that their word actually means something (at least that’s how I feel)! 😉
